English Revival – Reviving the traditional skills of exceptional craftsman for the way we live today. Handcrafted, handpainted, English Revival kitchens are built using high-quality materials and traditional carpentry skills together with modern technology to produce a truly beautiful finish. This results in a fine quality finished kitchen that oozes style and luxury.

British craftsmanship at its very best. It starts with carefully selected timber sourced from as far away as North America. We take the time to specify the character of the wood required such as knots, splits and colour to suit individual ranges. Using a straight line edger the wood is squared up, ensuring only quality pieces of wood are used right from the very start. Expert planning and edge smoothing prepare the wood for the next stage where your kitchen can begin to take shape.

Choose from 2 styles, both ‘in frame’ with either traditional Shaker style door, or Modern Classic, with the character of ‘in frame’ style with a smooth and flat counter-grain door. Just launched for 2018.

Mereway’s new Signature kitchen model took centre stage at this year’s trade show, KBB Birmingham. Part of the brand’s existing English Revival collection, the Signature kitchen features traditional shaker-style doors and a hand-painted matt finish – giving the traditional aesthetic a contemporary edge.

The Signature kitchen range includes tall cupboards, larders, dressers and open shelving options and is available in 12 chic shades, including Tyrolean Blue, Aubergine, Pebble, Cashmere and Pumice. While, showcased especially well at the brand’s KBB stand, the open shelving units and cupboards can be finished in a pair on contrasting colours – adding a modern twist to the scheme and another interesting visual dimension.

“With inspired design and constantly evolving additions to our range, your kitchen will always be more individual to you – we add designer touches and more attention to detail that elevate beyond the ordinary and give you a room to be proud of at a similar cost to big stores – making the difference between a design service and just a planning service.”

A great service all the way through. Very happy with my kitchen and I will certainly recommend Deane to friends.

Visit our showroom to get a feel for our service and products. We have loads of design inspiration within our displays and usually have a designer on hand to discuss your kitchen ambitions.

TIP – it’s really helpful to bring your approximate sizes, and maybe a photograph or two of your kitchen along with you. Have a look on Pinterest or in your favourite home magazine for design styles and bring them with you too if you want to steal an idea – just like you would if you were changing hairstyle! Pictures of any special features you might like us to include for you like a window seat or even an AGA!

• To start, you need to know what the design will be – most rooms have limitations of either something practical like beams or the lack of electrical or water sources in the right place. So, get the design sorted with the help of one of our skilled interior experts. They are very experienced, friendly and helpful and know that getting a good design is what matters most in your decision. Our in house Computer Aided Design (CAD) system will allow you to see in 3D or even virtual reality exactly how your new kitchen might look, and you can change things around to get a feel of what would suit YOU best. Everyone has different and individual priorities, one design doesn’t fit all, even in the same room.

• Secondly, get the look right – our own brand kitchen has lots of different options from painted shaker to sleek handle less curves – once you have a design in mind, its easier to imagine how much colour and pattern you will see. Again, the CAD system is invaluable as you can change styles virtually to help you decide.

TIP – It’s really popular to mix different colours in the kitchen. Wall units and base units can be different as can an island – if you like a strong colour like anthracite or purple but don’t want to use it all over, try just an island or a centre wall cupboard – it works really well, and gives you a truly unique look.

• Worktops. This is a mega important choice, and we can help. Click here for some advice…

• Appliances. We have ranges from AEG and Caple, giving you budget flexibility and choice. Often there are excellent incentives to buy.

Once you have your design, colour, worktops and appliances settled, your kitchen is manufactured for you – not picked off a shelf – and arrives at your home complete, not flat packed and ready to be hand built for you by one of our expert installers who will work with you to achieve your kitchen dream.
