Client Aims:
Our client wanted a guest bedroom that would ease the storage burden on their main bedroom. Things like heavy coats, ski gear and holiday clothes were taking up space that they wanted to use more often. They weren’t averse to filling the room to create as much storage and use as possible but stipulated that it had to flow, no awkward corners, and a cohesive design.
Deane Solution:
This ‘Metro’ sliding wardrobe with its mirrored fronts not only made the room appear much larger, but gave a whole 3 metres of floor to ceiling storage, enough for all the client’s requirements, plus guest hanging space, and a concealed TV! They extended the installation by adding over bed cupboards, and a dressing table customised with their own individual mirror.
I wanted loads of space for all my overflow stuff, and a place we could have guests stay – our family live overseas – for a few weeks at a time. This room ticks all the boxes for me, and the price was very reasonable considering we had so many custom options!
