Client Aims:
We were asked to provide a comprehensive storage solution that wasn’t too intrusive to this dormer bedroom, encompassing the space both ways out of the corner in a way that didn’t clutter the fabulous space in the room and it’s views.
Deane Solution:
Using bespoke sloping doors, we built a ‘shoedrobe’ to the entry passageway, using rounded corners to achieve flow. Long and short hanging rails in the main wardrobes provided good clothes storage, whilst the end mirrored floor to ceiling shallow shoe cupboard took care of boxes and loose shoes brilliantly. Accurately providing a sit up Hollywood dressing table that we complemented with symmetrical bespoke drawers to the whole space gave a balanced, thought out and comprehensive storage solution to the room. Rounded edge bedside units completed the project.
We loved the extra detail that Deane were able to provide, like the rounded corners, chunky worktops and the lovely rich dark colour we wanted as soon as we saw it. I seemed to get an awful lot of storage within the two walls we could spare.
